Anyone cover their car?

My garage is full of crap, so I have to park my car in my driveway or on the street all the time. I know Subaru has their wagon car cover available for $$$+, but for all of you who cover your car either overnight, for days you're not using it, or (like me) when you go on vacation, what type of cover did you buy?

Garage sale, and dump run are my suggestions. Car covers will ruin your paint, unless you have a clean cover and a clean car. Since you live in Yuba City, you should have no problem selling some stuff.

^Agree with that statement. Unless your car is clean everytime and your cover is clean, it will do more harm then good. Garage is your best bet.

I got one with the car, i use it on hot summer days cause my car is not driven a lot and the sun is really hard on the paint!

Thanks 04caliwrx. I won't ever be able to fit my car into my garage along with 3 motorcycles & tools & all the other stuff I will have in there regardless of how well organized it is. My plan is to wash the car thoroughly (done) and cover it with a new, clean cover prior to heading out for a couple weeks on vacation. The idea is that, since I'm not going to be driving it for a couple weeks, I'd rather protect it from the sun/heat & dust/pollen.

So, 04caliwrx, you have a factory Subaru cover you got when you purchased the car? I really should have had them throw one in when I bought mine back in '03, but I didn't think of it at the time.

Naah. A car cover is fine. Just keep your paint clean and toss the cover in the trunk or in a case that it comes in...
My car shines more than a lot of garage queens.....
