I'm not the ghetto-rig type, but I've never used them - just tighten lugs to snug by hand in a star pattern, then in a star pattern unweighted to about 40 lbs, then tighten on the ground. Spins out true every time.

Honestly, i just bought a set of Enkei RPF1's that didnt come with hubcentric rings and i havent had a single issue. I have DD driven them, around town and on the highway, heck i have even autoXed on them without the hubcentric rings.
I just put the wheel on the studs. I put one lug nut in and try to center the wheel on the studs while i tighten that one lug nut. I then add another and do the same thing, again trying to keep the wheel centered on the studs. I then add one last one, again doing the same thing as before and all three studs should make a triangle. keep in mind this is all at finger tight. Once the three lugs are on, all studs should be centered in all the holes on the rim. Add the remaining two lug nuts finger tight then torque down in a star pattern. I have done this numerous times and havent had a single wheel wobble.
To answer you original question, if you have a 05 STI (like listed in your OP) then your measurement is wrong. 05 STIs have 56.15mm hub bore size, NOT 57.1mm like you had listed. Not being mean, just dont want you to buy the wrong thing. Despite what i said above, i still bought hub centric rings. The reason i bought them was because with AutoX it makes it easier and it takes less time to mount the wheels. This is what i bought:
Best of luck!

for real? dang i would have never guessed that tognottis would carry those(its obvious now though)! great find man!
i was using the sybir method for a few years now with only minor vibration after about 5k miles. that's when i would rotate and do the whole tightening procedure. but it takes a lot of patience and im running out of that fast.
guess im going shopping tomorrow

haa! looks like you bought the last set man... i went in yesterday (9/14), asked for aluminum 56.15 - 73, not in stock; the guy at the wheels desk said: "yeah someone just came in yesterday and bought my last set."
what wheel is that in the pic above? looks juicy
