What's up everybody? A buddy of mine is looking for an STi can came across this one on craigslist- **2004 Subaru WRX STI Java Black 400 HP Tein Suspension**

It looks pretty clean to me, but as we all know, looks can be deceiving. The ad mentions it was tuned at GST motorsports. I've never heard of them, but they have a legitimate looking website, haha. Anyone familiar with them?

Anyone familiar with the car? Anyone on here the former owner? Looks like its at a small dealership, don't know if that's a good thing (lower price) or bad things (maybe salvaged title, something wrong with the car, etc.). Anyone got any info on it?

 

Gst is a great shop to get your car maintained. I always go there to get things I need done.

 

I've also seen the ad. I drive past that dealership often. Don't have any experience from him, but he looks to be running a very legit business and he sell quality vehicles.

I usually see vipers, ZO6's, cobra's, trucks with quality lift kits, etc. He seems legit..all cars have low miles, super clean
He does not carry garbage. I believe he has all records, receipts, etc. Looks clean, check car fax, see it in person, my opinion, looks like a great car for a lucky owner!

 

Looks clean! But that's a lot of mods for a used car have it checked out before looked at!

Paul does a pretty comprehensive pre-purchase inspection. Might even be able to get the dealer to pay for it.

 

Thanks for the heads up guys. I was thinking about taking it up to Paul to get it checked out, if the dealer's cool with it. My buddy's into cars, but neither him, nor I have the knowledge/tools to do a really good pre-buy inspection. I told him he should get a compression test, which he agreed with. Anything else I should look for?
