If you plan on going low they suck performance wise I love them I have them on my 06 Sti, although the ride is bouncy you get used to it

lets just say they are mainly for track. If you plan to go low and slammed to the ground like what other people do now a days with coilovers then yes they will suck. No coilovers will give a good ride quality when they are slammed to the ground. I had a set of JIC flt-a2 and used then for 2 years and loved them. I wasnt slammed on them but i was a little bit lower.

They'll ride like a box of hammers and I don't know if JIC is servicing them in the US anymore. If you're getting them for $500, the dampers are likely blown or close to blown, I'd steer clear.

Buying something as important as suspension based solely on price (vs. performance) is a losing proposition. You get what you pay for.

so what i'm basically gathering from this is that they ride hella stiff and don't perform when you are slammed, but they're decent at a practical ride height?

I dont plan on going really low, about a quarter inch lower from where i sit w/ tein s-techs.. not tryin to be slammed of flush

yeah what sybir said... if there that cheap, there either blown and its expensive to get them rebuilt... and when it comes to suspension dont go cheap bro...pick up some BC... pretty decent price...

Save up for something good, and you'll never have any second thoughts. Why do you think I'm still riding on the S-tech my car came w/. I'm gonna wait and buy some V3's or Tarmac 2's w/ plates.
