I say legacy GT wagon, unless you spend a lot of time up in snow country. My friend in Truckee is getting a Outback XT because he specifically wants the added clearance. But If your like Aaron then you'll want that mother slammed to the ground, and GT would be for you.

The Outback definitely looks more badass. And it'll still feel very low after dumping the trash hauler.

You guys might want to talk to Aaron. There's more to lowering the OBXT than putting on some springs.

i agree w/ RussB Forester XT > OBXT x 10
but i'm partial to the boxy Forester styling.

At least wait for pricing of the new redesigned Foresters first.

Don't get me wrong, because I love the Forester, but it is too small. I love the headroom, but the rear seat is the same as my WRX and it is too small to put the baby seat there and have a comfortable front seat position. I need that extra couple of inches. Also the rear area is smaller. I have a dog and luggage to pack. And my wife's eleventy billion bags full of who-knows-what.

Plus with what they've done to the legacy's this year, it is just so much of a nicer car inside than the Foresters.

I'll probably wait until the end of the year to see what changes they make for their second year of production.
