Another FNG to the board

Quoting Bloodhound gang are we?!
Yes, the reference run on that 19t e85 Dyno *plot was on 91. I tune for safety.. That was about the most I could extract out of 91 without hitting any knock.. Believe it or not, boost was very close to the same between those runs.. Within a couple lbs.. Most of the power was picked up from timing and just the general awesomeness of e85.
The only thing that throws off the comparison a bit is that I also added the TMIC between those runs.. I don't know how much of a diff the TMIC alone would have made on the 91, but probably not a whole lot..
On e85 knock just totally disapeared.. Gonzo.. I probably could have upped the boost even more and squeezed some more out of it, but I didnt really want to push it.. The final numbers on e85 were about where I would comfortably DD the car (Except with a few more horsepowers as I would have made sure t he boost held up better to redline.)
I was able to pick up a lot of timing too with e85.. (below is my timing log from the e85 run) - On e85 you pretty much just sort of pick your boost and timing.. You are really only limited by the size of your injectors.. If you are anywhere in the ballpark on timing and fuel knock is just non-existant. I sort of aim for at least 16 degrees at peak torque (on this tune I was quite a bit above that)and 25-26 degrees by redline.. You dont really net any more HP by pushing the timing up any higher than that, but e85 DOES like a fair amount of advance.. So I wouldnt really shoot any lower than that either..
Basically, e85 is the schiz.. I will never run another turbo car without it again.. EVER.
Also, another note, the fuel was not very well dialed in on that run either.. It was sort of "roughed" in and a bit on the rich side.. Ill attach the wideband log too.. I was sort of lazy at that point and didnt really want to go through the trouble to flatten out the fuel when I knew I was going to be making some drastic changes to the car in a coupla weeks..
* All "dyno" numbers are just Airboy interpolations..

This is a great welcome thread, you have basically seen all the modes of i-crub.
There is the helpful/interested crowd.
There is the constantly at war/bickering crowd.
There is the Stupidchicken 1 word (usually "lol") response/26k+ post in a year crowd.
And finally there is the actually shows up to meets crowd.

Crap.. I guess I've been branded..
It was good meeting ya man. It was fun. I've been pretty incognito for a few years, it was nice to get back out there and meet some turbo junkies..
Incidentally.. I sorta swapped names on forums.. Im using my bike forum name now, but some folks know me better by my old handle, BenGSX. TSImage (who came up in conversation) should know who I am pretty well
