This weekend I get to mod my Hella 500 fog lights to work with LEDs I got that are way bigger then the H3 bulbs they are to replace. The retainer clip ain't even close to the right size.

 

That'll be fun haha

 

I'm not beyond uesing a high temp sealant to glue it down and soldering on a jumper in place to conect the ground to the bulb. We'll see.

 

At one point, I had HIDs in my fogs. The HID bulbs were so much longer than the H3 bulbs, I had to open the housings up and remove the reflector cap. Ended up being more flood light than fog light and the optics were aaaaall kinds of ****ed up. lol

 

HID is the complete opposite of fog light intentions

 

It was a step in having HIDs in the fogs, lows, and highs. The set of JDM headlights I'm selling were purchased to be retrofit with bi-xenon projectors to have HID bulbs in the reflector fogs, HID bi-xenon (dual beam high and low) projectors AND HID bulbs in the reflector highs.

I wanted to be able to flash someone and set their car on fire.

 

Yay got my desk all set up in the new office, going to be fun moving all my crap over.
