At 239 PM PST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from west of
Yuba City... southward to Davis to near Morgan Hill. The line was
moving to the east at 30 mph.

Hail up to one-half inch in diameter... gusty winds and heavy
downpours are expected with this line of showers and storms.
Ponding of water is also likely on area roadways. Rain is likely
to begin in the Sacramento area between 300 PM and 330 PM.

Locations impacted include...
Knights Landing... Liberty Farms... Rio Vista...
Yuba City... Nicolaus... Sacramento... Stockton and Modesto.

When it gets that big, I feel we need to start calling it something besides "hail". Called the wife, told her to bring the dog in so she doesn't get skulled.
