Seriously my sti's exhaust is LOUD, but yesterday while driving a harley was going the other direction and all I could hear was him and it was LOUD! They will never get pulled over for that ****... why? because its not an import. There blatent aim towards imports is such ****, there is just as many Domestic street racers as there are imports. Only difference is the imports tend to be slower. Its bull**** like that, that makes me wish I would have boughten Domestic just so I don't have as big of a cop hassle. My Huge spoiler and hood scoop don't help the cause either. I really am thinking about trading for a 2.5rs hood/trunk just so I don't stick out like a sore thumb saying PULL ME OVER AND POP MY HOOD. I love how their signs of illegal modifications has NOTHIGN to do with mods, it is "stickers, window tint, spoilers" Death to making emotional laws!!! BTW did anyone notice how in the latest pictures of deaths on street racing, the car that the kid died in who was racing, was a like 1986 Cavalier that was bone stock?? The truth is if a kid wants to street race he will street race in whatever car he is in... Look at the Honda boys, they have slow cars, and that doesn't stop them from street racing. They need to just pull over EVERYONE, even soccermom driving down the street with flow masters, for illegal mods and not pick only the imports.

Can i use this excuse for my car too? My car is loud so when im speed-racing people can hear me coming from 100 yard behind them so they know not to change lanes infront of me

Harley exhausts are for pussies. I was passing a group at WOT going up to my parents and they were giving *me* dirty looks

Actually, according to the CA law motorcycle noise regulations are more strict than those for cars:

27202. For the purposes of Section 27200, the following noise limits shall apply to any motorcycle, other than a motor-driven cycle, manufactured:
(1) After 1969, and before 1973..... 88 dbA
(2) After 1972, and before 1975..... 86 dbA
(3) After 1974, and before 1986..... 83 dbA
(4) After 1985..... 80 dbA

Exclamation

Good to see the violation codes for motorcycles but thats not what I was getting at. I actually like choppers and motorcycles. But i'm just saying if they're going to pull people over like that, they need to start pulling everyone over for illegal anything! I have friends that have bikes and its true that if they didnt have loud bikes, people wouldnt be able to hear them especially on the freeway. It just pisses me off that they are singling out import cars thats all. Even the Honda/Acura/Nissan guys, whatever it is. It's still wrong. They need to concentrate on the drug dealers and other real crimes out there!
