Driving in hot weather SUCKS
My A/C works fine, I don't notice any major power decrease with it on. The car seems to run a tad bit smoother. I don't like using it b/c it does use some extra gas. It may be b/c my RS has the 2.5L motor. Also, I like cruising with both windows all the way down and the sunroof popped (not open)-my car is a coupe, BTW.
My car acts funny when I have the AC running, and I'm starting to move in 1st. It feels like I have to give it more gas or something...so I just don't use it.
I drive with the windows down and the heat blasting in the winter. Windows are ALWAYS down.

I use the AC when the wife gets upset about the heat. Also, if my daughter is in her seat I use it. Her little seat gets WARM and I feel bad for her. If I'm by myself, the windows are down... unless the tunes are good. then up goes the windows, the volume, and the AC.

Never try to accelrate into traffic on HWY 24 above Manitou Springs with the AC on. I REALLY pissed off some poor guy coming down the hill when I thought, "Hey, I've got a turbo, I can get out and make it up to speed"
AC and lag are a beotch at 7,000ft.

I've got the stupid manual one that's mounted on the driver's side A pillar. And I have to manually extend it when I want to listen to the radio. I wish I didn't have it. The '04's look much better without it!

I'm gonna have to give a signal booster a try.
