Bret or Troy

I have installed an AEM CAI and a Borla Cat-Back exhaust. I just got a CEL today, and I was wondering if I should be worried about taking it into Heuberger to have them look at it? I'm pretty sure I'm still warranty safe, but I was just wondering.
Thanks for the help.

P.S. - I live in C-Springs.

You never can tell with Heuberger. You should definitely get it checked though. Maybe try having Checker pull the code and get back with us.

This may help...(?)

Checker is simply Checker auto parts stores...they can pull a CEL code to see what's up with the car. Also, when you install engine mods like those on your car, you want to always reset the ECU, to do that:
1)disconnect the negative (black) battery cable from the car battery for 45 min to one hour
2)connect the battery back in.
3) start the car WITHOUT applying ANY gas. Let it idle for about 20 minutes (be sure to have a full tank of your preferred grade of gasoline)
4)Turn off the car. Restart it, then take it for a ride-varying driving speeds-redline it once or twice and cruise a highway even. Just make sure you drive it enough to take it on low speed streets, high speed streets.

Like Bret said, you want to get a CEL code pulled though, just to be safe. Hope this helps out.

Will Checker pull the code for free?
Is there one in the Springs?
Thanks for the help.

Well, I just got back from AutoZone. They did the diagnostic for me and the CEL code is P1443 Evaporative Emission Control System Control Valve. They said that it probably has something to do with a gas overflow tank. Anyway, I think I'm just going to take it into Heuberger and have them look at it. At least now I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have anything to do with the intake or the exhaust.
Any other ideas?
Thanks so much.

Good chance it will get an ECU reflash.

Will Heuberger do that for me, or will they give me a hard time cause of my mods? Also, can I do the reflash myself by disconnecting my negative battery terminal?
Furthermore, the light didn't come on the last time I drove it, so now I don't know what to do.
Thanks for all the help Bret.

Pulley kits

Just wanted to get more of an expert opinion...
Do you have any pulley kits that you would recommend for a '01 RS? I've been leaning toward Perrin performance and GFB.I want a kit that gives good performance throughout the power band and doesn't affect the quality of function of my accessories (power steering, radio, headlights) at idle. Also, do you sell them? If so, how much and how much is installation?
Also, they say that lighter pulleys work even better on modified engines, does that hold true for engines with intakes and a torque chip, for example-or is it a fact for turbo charged engines? Thanks again!

I plan on putting on the GFB on my rally car which will be a 2.5L motor.

From what i know they changed the ratio enough that it wont affect how your drive belts work.

And they come in colors. :-)
