I'm a member of the golden gate lotus club who holds events down in marina. If you had the events down in santa Clara or alameda, I would def be interested!! Marina is really far but I can't wrap my mind around the idea of setting up the car for three runs and then setting it back for DD and then going home. For me autocross is a day event where you go and spend all day enjoying the race day
if you did somethig similar to gglc I'd be in

 

great america parking lot sounds like a really good idea, how is this all working out right now? is it looking like a possibility?

there has already been several events at great america, and its looking good for next year....

and if your a lotus club member... they will be there tommorow

 

i've attended a couple of GGLC events and I like how they operate. If it's something similar to that, i'd be down

 

Went to the GGLC event in Santa Clara (yes member) and it was awesome!! I love the elevation changes etc. Much better than marina IMO because of location and size of course.

 

Hahaha, don't know if this thread is still alive or not, but I would be in full support of another Auto-X series. I've been reading about a lot of events at the parking lot of Great America, and I raise my hand to that idea as well.

 

This isn't gonna happen. Site costs aren't the only problem, it's insurance costs that are super high as well. Join all the local clubs and you'll be autoxing every weekend anyways
