Me and my good friends went racing on Sloat Blvd in S.F.
Do you know of any better places to run with 3-5 cars? Well anyways, my 2001 RS with Borla GEn 4, Randon Tech GEn2, and N1 Catback manage to take the lead up to about 70 by half or more of a car length. Not really a hard launch by me, just the typically easy catch and gun! Any suggestions. My cars not doing bad rite? I mean in the high end, my friends Prelude SH is suppose to win anyhow unless i go CAMS?

Your right your doing fine. Without a hard launch your about where you should be, if you would have hard launched, the Prelude would not have caught you. I have a 2000 2.5RS with Borla #4, Random Tech #2, STI axle back, PDM Racing CAI, Exedy Clutch and lightweight Flywheel, Cobb Cam & heads etc. Preludes and Hondas can't smell me.

When I talk about hard launch, I don't mean dump the clutch. When staging the suby, bring it up to 3000 to 3500 and let the clutch out smoothly, if done correctly you should get no bogging and you should get chirping from all the tires. Practice ofcause makes perfect and when perfected you should get better runs.
