Not many subarus out there, there was an STi or two, and an Evo X that passed me once or twice. Couldn't find them on the paddock.

This was my first time on any track... ever. Had a really good time, my instructor was great. Went with TrackMasters. They spent a little too much time talking about fluids and how not to leak them... not enough time explaining how to take the proper line... for the novices at least. Will go again in August though, I'll be registering next paycheck!

specs on my car:

Instructor said not to touch my car suspension or performance wise. But I know that I need a proper racing seat. If you can't tell from the pictures I'm a big guy, so I need a racing seat I'll fit in. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I think I saw your car! I have a white 04 STI. I was there on Friday with TMR and Sat with NASA running in TT. I rarely see Subarus out there. The EVOs have a higher count out there generally.

Yeah, racing seat would help a lot. I know I did with my seat. I think the Sparco EVO2 would be a nice fit for you.

I coach for Hooked On Driving. If you really want to learn the line at Thunderhill come and check us out. It's something that we really focus on for A Group drivers.

I'm 6'4", 250 lbs. and the seats in my '04 STi fit me great, plus a 5 point harness really adds to the confidence factor on track.

In the mean time, something like a CG-lock is great.

Yea my head touches the roof also. But that's OK because they say if you get an airbag deployment with a full face helmet you'll get a reverse whiplash type injury. So with the tight fit it's less likely.
