Bay area Autox that doesn't require SCCA membership?
Fresno and Sacramento SCCA Chapters don't require memberships to participate, but it will cost you 5 dollars more than the SCCA members.
Fresno Chapter runs at Atwater (same place as American Auto-x) and Sacramento Chapter runs at Stockton. It's not really Bay Area, but those are pretty much your only options.
American Auto-x Series is definitely one you should try. The courses are designed for corvettes, so they are open and fast. 35 bucks will get you 5 runs. Atwater isn't to far from the bay area. It is equivalent to driving to Monterey.

Thansk for the info madlib! It's okay if it's only $5 more. Because I just want to go to 1 or 2 events to test out my setup. $5 more is less than the SCCA membership. Do you have link to American Auto-X? I'll see if I can find something from google.com. Thanks again!
