2009 Auto X (where can I go for info/schedules ?)
Seems like this particular forum on i-club doesn't get much love.
Where can I find info for schedules/locations of upcoming autoX events in or around the Sacramento and surrounding area(s)? I'm really interested in getting into it and getting to know local autoX enthusiasts.

A lot of places don't have their 2009 schedules finalized just yet, but you can keep a look out on their websites.
Here is the page for the Sac chapter of the SF Region:
http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Sacramento/index.html
San Francisco Region is also kinda close:

Here is the page for the Reno Region (a lot of Sac people drive up):
http://www.renoscca.org/
American Auto-x does events in Atwater (they follow their own classing, not SCCA classing)
http://www.americanauto-x.com/
And I believe there is a series up in Shasta, but I can't remember the address.

The Trinity Touring Club will have a winter autocross series starting in January at the Anderson Fairgrounds near Redding. We will have one event per month in Jan., Feb., and March. The best part is these will be held rain or shine so it could be lots of fun and very educational. A couple years ago we even had one in the snow!
The club meets next Tues. and will set the winter schedule then. Also, our '09 AX schedule won't be determined until the stock car promoter sets his schedule. We share the same facility. We pre-stage on the circle track and set up our course in their pit area. Our first points race of the year should be on the last weekend in April in partnership with the Hot O Rama carshow. BTW if you come for that weekend you could enter your car in the carshow and enjoy a three day weekend of drifting, rock crawling, burnout contest, motorcycle stunts, live music, etc., etc., etc. The fairgrounds is about a 2 hour drive up Interstate 5 from Sacramento.
More info is at http://www.trinitytouringclub.com or contact me at jpdriver@prodigy.net or 530-242-6204.

I'll keep these in mind. Quite a drive to get there from Sac but it looks like those are the only events going on besides a couple of possible RallyX that are in the works. A snow AutoX would be pretty cool (if it ever happens again). I bet that was fun though.
Looking for the same thing. i checked all the sites listed and they dont really state anything coming up anytime soon. i live south of san jose near laguna seca so i am specifically looking for marina autocross or track days at laguna or infineon. pretty much anywhere close would be nice. anyone have some more infor where to look?
thank you!!!
thank you!!!
