the movie was good, i thik i expected a bit more as far as going the fantasy type route. i wonder how close it stayed to the actual history of the ancient greece/persian war. as for sheer entertainment value it was ok~usa great. as gay as xerxes looked he holds my respect as the god of pimps. i give this movie 4.5/5 butt plugs up. (-.5 deduction for too many clothed wimmenz during teh scene when hunchback was surrounded with the boobage) ;(

 

the movie was based on a comic or graphic novel, which was based loosely on the actual ancient greece/persian war. As for what really happen I'm not sure, but I don't think they used Elephants or Rhinos in their wars or ninjas

 

I watched it 300 last weekend.

i watched it at lunch. The queen is pretty hot. The movie makes me wanna kill.

 

Am I the only one who thought that the special effects were overdone and took away from the movie? Also, the IMAX I went to made the movie look kinda grainy (was it like that at all of them?) and the blood looked extremely fake.

 

the blood was cgi, cgi blood always looks fake for some reason

 

i thought that was on purpose to give the movie a graphic novel feel? a la sin city.

i saw it last friday. we got to the theater too late = my neck hurts from looking up and to the right the whole time. good movie, though.
