PS3 even though new systems always have bugs i would still go for the PS3 I like sony that much.

 

So far bugs that I know is that the new PS3 won't be able to play most of the old PS2 games. They are aware and will still release it.

 

which ps2 games won't it play? How about ps1 games?

sony says 200 or so PS2 games have compatibility problems on the PS3. but with their library of near 8,000 games, this accounts to only like 2-3% of games that don't work. then again some of the more notable games (like final fantasy 12, tekken 5, Grand theft auto) all have audio problems and random game freezes. im sure it will smooth out with firmware patches, so back to the trusty PS2...
