i'd get the wii, not much of a console player anymore but nintendo always been good to me. and it's cheap compared to the others.

I got to a GameStop in Whittier at 6:45 this morning. There were already 5 people waiting. 4 Chinese guys that have been there since 3am and a white guy playing his DS Lite since 5am. Later on a grandma came to wait for her grandson and then another guy after that. When the store employee arrived at 9:30 he told us that they would only have 8 core systems available. The guy infront of me at that point left to check out another GameStop. When the employee came back outside he first asked me and the 4 other Chinese guys if any of us were related (due to 1 ps3 per household)... that question was pretty funny to me cause we were all Chinese. He then said that they only had 5 pre-orders available. I barely made it cause the guy in front of me left. I'm probably still going to camp out on the launch date. Anyone want to buy a core system? Hahahaha!

play-asia.com is still accepting pre-orders for the japanese ps3.
and if you're gonna skip these two and look at a 360 instead, outpost.com is having a special on the xbox 360 premium + 3 games (saints row, dead rising, test drive unlimited). when this special originally went up this past sunday, it was priced at $359.86 (the premium alone costs $399.99). i put an order in for one, but it turns out it was cancelled due to a pricing error. damnit! the word is they are going to repackage this bundle (it's a promotion for their anniversary sale) and come out with an even better one. the deal is supposed to go up at midnight EST this thursday or friday.
