hey dudes, i just got my tax return ... so it's time to replace the camera i broke in a drunken rampage...

i was considering the sony W50, but hate the idea of buying expensive memory sticks

here are the req's...

Not more than 300ish...
Sharp + ungrainy pics...
Adjustable settings like aperture and exposure...
fast start up
able to continuous shots w/o much delay
movie mode ( i guess..) :shrug:

i miss my camera. stupid gmr w/ a stupid driver.

 

it's an all metal cased sony with the Carl Zeiss? lens?... apparently they're quite popular... they always seem to be sold out whenever i go looking for one...

I want the new one that sony just brodcasted on tv. The one that has the fast shuter. So pics wont look blured. I dont have a steady hand.

Go to best buy and mess around with them. My camera cost me around $500 with a bigger memory stick and case.

 

do you know which camera that sony one is? that one is badass... esp with that lil muse flying around playing that keyboard... hahahah

why not consider canon or nikon or olympus?

personally i buy cameras from a camera maker not a tv/ps2 etc.

sony makes good cameras but canon/nikon/olympus do it better. grainy pics are from your ISO settings being too high, reduce that and the pics will come out better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_speed

I was looking at the nikon s6/s5. Im not sure I want to compromise thin for picture quality though. Nikon makes some nice stuff.
