WRC blasphemy! McRae talking to NASCAR?

i guess the reason for still using older engine systems is due to the fact that are simple, which also means they are easily regulated. F.I. and computer systems would make it much easier for teams to get more power and torque, and nascar wouldn't be able to test for it. so it basically keeps the playing field level. sort of like how wrc requires 32mm turbo restrictors, and 34mm in US open class cars.
speaking of which, i wonder what would happen if the wrc allowed 34mm restrictors... just think Petter and Marcus racing through Finland with 400+hp!!! hehe
about McRae, i don't think he would go to nascar either. i think its a move to get people to take notice. if the wrc loses one of its best, that would just be ashame.

Speaking of crashes have you guys ever seen those nascrap races on road courses? That is the funniest shist i've ever seen in my life, there are so many spins it's ridiculous. Either someone can't drive, or something can't handle because every time there is an event SpeedNews has 15 soild minutes of spin and crash footage....
I'd seriously have to go to a NASCAR race just to fling dung and dirt at McRae if he ever did that.... Really thats just a joke.

Wouldn't he get real bored real fast? He'd have to aim for the wall just to satisfy his spectacular crash habit... Plus that yellow line wouldn't let him drop the inside tire on turns either.... seriously, if McRae raced nascar, he'd only have a good time at watkin's glen and sears point. i reckon he'd have a good chance at winning either of those races, since there are only two or three other guys who can turn right.
