!!NO MORE Rally XS Magazine!!
Does anyone subscribe to this. Well, I have and just recently found out that my subscription needed to be renewed. So, I went to their website and payed via PayPal and just tonight I got an email from them with a refund of my money and them saying that the magazine has ceased production! 
It will no longer be made anymore. Where the heck am I gonna keep up on the WRC now. Makes me wonder if the WRC will even last, everyone seems to be pulling out except a few manufacturers.

http://www.rallyworldmagazine.com Its just starting up, but covers more series then just the WRC.
The closure of Rally XS is startling, but you could kind of see it in the last few issues. They tried adding more non-rally stuff to the magazine, but that didn't seem to work. In this day and age, I get all my rally news 2 months before I read Rally XS. I still bought it for the photos and exclusive interviews, but the web probably chased away a lot of potential buyers.

Guess I'll have to subscribe to that mag then. The only reason why I didn't see it coming is because I missed my last two issues But that really sucks, it seems like the WRC is going down hill, and fast!
On a brighter side, I just subscribed to Rally World Mag. Anyone know if it's a 6 issue/year thing like XS or 12??

I got a letter with my last issue of Rally XS saying AutoSport would be combining the rally coverage into their magazine. Two weeks later I got the AutoSport and was disappointed at the coverage. Oh well thats waht the internet is for, going to miss the awesome pictures though.

FWIW we do a lot of Rally (Club, WRC, etc.) coverage in Subiesport Magazine too. Plus, you get all that Subaru-goodness in every issue.
in the Feb 05 issue had a round-up of the last 1/2 of the WRC season and an interview with Canadian Rallyist Patrick Richard. Our next issue (April 05) had a big guide to Rally-X (inc. prep tips), Stage, Circuit and WRC rallying.
We have a photographer hanging with the SWRT at Monte right now.
Between us and Rally World, I think little will be missed about RallyXS (tho, I loved XS's layout).

Ryan, how much am I looking at for a subscription to your magazine? I might subscribe since Rally World is already pissin' me off by not getting back to talking to me. Also, is there any chance I could get a onetime issue to see what it's like or something??

The autosport rally coverage isn't bad, but it is relative and thats important. Plus it seems that you don't get the continuation of your full subscription (subscribed in july got 3 issues or RallyXS and then got 2.5 months of autosport and now????). The one to two rally articles plus the all the recap stuff is similiar to what rallyxs had. Its hard to directly compare pages of coverage because autosport is much more compact, 3+ pages for one article in XS is like 2 colums in autosport but its almost the same word counts. Autosport is way to expensive on its own though...
I'd love to support rallyworld but.....
