Yeah, I used to have a 13in MacBook, but the screen was worthless for photo editing and design so I planned on getting an IMac eventually. But then my dog killed the laptop so I replaced it with the iMac.

I really want to have both, so I can do things like tether and show clients stuff at meetings.

 

Yeah I hate editing on this 13" screen but a 25" HP LED Monitor is only $250 and would probably save my eyes in the long run. I would love a 27" iMac though.


My friend gave me free Pit Row Suite seats for the Porsche races today. That was my first time panning and I think I got a couple pretty cool shots in. My Flickr account is almost full so I might have to just wait till I can get Pro before uploading them.

 

I edit on a 27 inch monitor. I email clients.

Check their rental schedule to see when there are track days, and then use those as free practice days for panning. Don't forget though, shutter speed will depend on speed of the cars.

 

Yeah I lowered the shutter speed to around 1/500th and panned. I looked at their schedule and there were all skip barber driving school days. Can I park there for free and watch

It was a huge sea of white lenses there. I caught a couple large black zooms but they were just Sigmas mounted on Canons

 

Yes, track days are free to observe. Just drive to the paddock and sign the waver at the entrance.

 

I also like photography. Had my camera for a couple months now. Here are a couple of my favorites. I am a complete noob with a camera but I try.
