Everyone with a digital camera these days things they are a "photographer" just like anyone with photoshop thinks they are a graphic designer...

me...not a photographer...

me...don't mess with digital...

I like film. I shoot film. Sooner or later I'll get a digital but I'll hopefully NEVER stop shooting BW with film....digitals can fake it but it's still just that..faking it.

So....mind you..not a photographer...

Film is great...I have an old nikon nicromat that I love shooting with. Light meter is busted though and needs to be fixed.

For events or shoots though, its just so much easier to do digital. Especially when in a time crunch. I do not like the laziness factor that creeps in with digital though. Film makes you think more.

exactly. Anyone can go shoot 500 shots at an event and get a handful of good ones. You can see them right there. Oh that wasn't good change this..reshoot it.

With film you're either right or your not. And you don't know until you develop. Then you toss in the development process. If you're doing it by yourself you can change the photo in MAJOR ways in the development process.

I'll eventually start shooting digital cause I can't afford development costs. It's getting REDICULOUS to develop BW film and I don't currently ahve access to a dark room. But I'll probably shoot both at any give event.
