Best camera under $800?

When you say nature shots, are you shooting birds/animals or landscapes? Are you looking for something small you can pull out and snap random shots with while on a hike or do you want something thats bigger/heavier and takes more setting up?
The RX100 III is hard to beat for a compact walk around which makes it a great every day camera and takes great shots of landscapes. The RX100 II is a little cheaper with longer range but you lose the faster low light shots. You can put it in your pocket.
It would be my pick unless your shooting birds and far away wildlife.
