You make me laugh.
If you got the finger, you most likely deserved it. There's nothing in the water here that I know of that causes people to to get irritated without reason- just have respect and don't drive like an *******. If anything, I'd say from all the pot we consume, that we are probably more laid back than most drivers.

As for driving 'under the limit'... the only way I can explain that is hippies trying to use less gas (you'd be surprised at the difference in gas mileage between cruising at 75mph vs 60-65mph)... but I understand in a way because given the two lanes, when someone wants to pass a loaded truck in the right lane going up a hill at 65, this gets on my nerves when I'm in a hurry- I mean, popo's will let you drive by speed traps anywhere under 80mph (it's true), so if you don't want to lose your speed, that's when the right shoulder (were the truck SHOULD be) comes in handy . Maybe I'm too patient, maybe I've just learned to put up with it... who knows.... but you should ALWAYS drive assuming everyone is an idiot, like you said.

Stop the hate- if you don't like my fiyah, don't come around...
there are ****ty drivers everywhere.

Next time I'm going to Grants Pass I'll have to post an invite to drive the CRAZY fireroads out past Wilderville where I used to live (born and raised in the Grants Pass area).

Damnit I can't wait to get outta cali and move to portland, only a few months away.

Need help finding my Grandpas phone number, lost it when I reorganized my room, I know sounds crazy. He lives in Grants Pass, so if anyone lives near there please help me out by looking in the phone book for his number. His name is George Lauffer, and lives in Grants Pass, same exit as the Greyhound Bus Depot. Thanks for your help.

about to move there...DOH!!

Sux to hear.. I'm moving up there within 24 hrs... Beaverton area.. And I thought the Bay Area was bad. I guess I'll try to drive 'defensively'. Oh, long story-short, sold the SRT-4, own a 98' RS EJ22. "Long-live-2-doors!" I'll post some feedback in a few weeks and give everyone a crash-update..

"CONFIRMED"

"Yes Oregon drivers suck." For a really mellow state, they sure are in a hurry!! It's like everyone is speeding but me.. I could start driving like them, but having a CA plate gets me cut off enough already.. I'm sure i'll get used to it.. I hear we have a 24-hr Church of Elvis somewhere downtown, so thats cool...

Cool

Heheh...
Welcome SRT4BMX its nice to know some fello subie neighbors.
In case you haven't noticed, the Pacific Northwest is not the most "active" place on the forums list, unlike the Bay Area, Hawaii, SoCal, ect. I mean we got 270 replys for members check in give or take a few replys, but still no chatter. I'd like to start something but have failed terrible in the past. ( check some of my post's in the NW )

So i think me and you should have a I-club meeting for the north west. Hawaii has some all the time so why can't we? Right?

Talk to me later if you wanna start something up, i'm always on-

Yeah, I'm moving up to PDX soon (just got back from a trip to check out apartments). I would totally be down for a meet in da NW!!!

My buddies and I in Santa Cruz would get together, drink beer, talk cars, and occasionally actually do something to our cars (group installs etc). Thats my favorite kind of meet!

I just picked this up... a little late. Hmmm? I am telling you, I pass someone on a country road 10mph faster then they are going (cleanly) ~ and I get horn honks, flashing lights and/or waving!!! Yes, they must be saving gas... On the freeway if they are saving gas, it would be nice to see them move right...

At any rate, it's a small price to pay for great roads, great views and too few State Troopers (thanks tax payers!).

Would love to hook up for a local meeting ~ say a pub one night in Ashland or GP???
