*heh* I didn't even find out about the schism or NASIOC until I'd been a member here for a couple of months. I did eventually check it out but decided I preferred the more laid-back atmosphere on i-club.
Ironically, since this is so slow I've taken to reading and posting on an English scooby board - I'm English myself - where there are some real characters. (Funny ones
)
I'd read and post here more though, if folks would chat a bit ... actually met up with awd the other weekend at Alkai and we hung out and chatted, watching the cute girls blade past.
I'm always up for that if other folks are interested - you don't need big formal plans to hang out in the sun and b/s.
Bonkers. :banana:

I have been reading the F-150 Forum and found a few nicknames for the truck.
Supercrew=SCREW
Supercab=SCAB
So I am thinking I need to change my name to "TeamSCREWtheSUBARU"
Another annonymous person/troll has suggested I get a Calvin pissing on Subaru sticker... lol

I think the problem with this forum is that the region is too big and there simply aren't enough members. People need to have some familiarity with one another and the area to make a regional forum work. For me, I live near Medford, OR. Most of the members from the NW are from the seattle area, which I (don't take this wrong), cannot relate to. I don't know if breaking it down to states would help much, either, seeing that I've only noticed about 5-10 other members (who actually post once in a while) who are from Oregon. Until there are more members, there won't be enough traffic to make this forum interesting.
Please, someone (or everyone) prove me wrong...

Ok, so I'm back from my vacation down in my hometown in portland and I got a Used STi from an old guy who traded it in on a hummer H2 because it was too rough LOL. It only had 4400 miles on it. It's silver and I spent most of the rest of my time at home working at Rallitek for the owner Sean and we did a few things to it. I put on an Invidia Turbo-back, Perrin rear sway bar K&N panel filter and AVO blow off valve (50-50 re-circ type) and have had a blast in this car. It blows my old wrx out of the water in every single way. Anyhoo, I'll be getting out of the navy this summer and working for Sean at Rallitek while going to school so feel free to let me know if you guys need any parts at really good prices.
Cheers,
Joel

Sweet!!! hook another sailor up! Actually, i'm not really looking for much more performance parts. Maybe some stuff for the suspension, and body. I'm actually looking for some painted side skirts at the moment. Can rallitek get some of those?

They can side skirts and have them painted by a really good shop, but they don't do the painiting. The suspension is no problem, what car are you rocking, they can get everything from basic Tein springs to DMS 50mm coil-overs, Sean has given me authority to make killer deals on IPD sway bar sets with endlinks and IPD is a local (Portland) NW company too so it helps us all out. Probably throw in a free rallitek t-shirt too. Let me know what you want.
