I'm done skiing for the season and now I'm learning how to roll a kayak 'cos I wanna do some whitewater this year!

Gotta work on the electrical in my condo today though - one of my lights had a broken wire that was shorting out on the aluminium fixture!

Yeah, this forum is kinda dead. Dunno why. Well, i can't wait to get back to Seattle. Right now, i'm stuck over in Rhode Island for some training since i'm in the military. It really sucks up here. I'll be home in two weeks though! I miss my wife and also my car of course.

 

that is also my plan. I hope to trade in my wrx for an sti when i get back. I'd rather find a used one, but a brand new one is cool too. Go Navy!

Perhaps we could start up some action in the NW forum... It definitely needs it. Well, we got 5 replies to a thread in one day, thats more than I expected. Maybe we can make something of this place.

Tell your fellow Suby owners/enthusiasts to check this place out- we still need more traffic.

Cool, going down that way myself on the 23rd - signed up to help Primitive out with car maintenance for the Oregon Trail rally (and learn some stuff in the process).


Should give it a try mate, there's plenty of places around here you can rent and paddle on calm water. Should run you about $10-15 an hour, which is plenty for a beginner session.


Well I didn't get out paddling but I did get the light fixed... only problem is that I now want to replace every fixture in the place - previous guy had sh*te "taste" in lighting! (I of course have excellent taste )

Just bought myself a pair of rollerblades tonight too - fun, sun and (hopefully) cute "scenery".

awd4ever tried to get a meet going over at Alkai a couple of weekends back but he and I were the only ones who made it (though a couple of others did drive-bys), I'm sure he'd put the word out on the RS and NASIOC forums if there was more interest. (Plenty of CYTs on rollerblakes... not that that influenced my buying decision any, honest! )
