I like how you think Kevin!
And the saga continues towards Steven's 3rd subaru.
You just got that WRX and already trading up...man I thought I was terrible with my previous cars (I've had 9 so far) but I'm very happy with my current RS (by happy means I like it and can't afford an sti haha ) GLIA man!

Picked her up from a good friend, DoubleHelix (Alan) the other night. She came pretty heavily modded, but reliable and with all of the stock parts... so no worries It's an 04 Java Black Pearl STi with 60k on the clock.
I've definately got some plans for this bad *** car and only time will tell how sick it's going to become.
Current setup on the car has the DeadBolt SuperZilla 49 with a JDM STi TMIC, Helix Downpipe, Cobb Catback. DeatschWerks 740cc Injectors, Walbro Fuel Pump, Ported Cobb Uppipe, Stock Ported Manifold, etc. It's currently pushing 309 AWP and 311 AWTQ, tuned by Ed from EQ Tuning. I'll post up a nice modlist and plans later on as well as the dyno sheets.
I'm thinking that I'm going to buy and paint and new front bumper for summer, get an external wastegate on a new uppipe, run a cold air, and then get a 100 octane tune from Ed so I can be safer at trackdays
Some newer pictures, and I updated my mod list in the first post
Here's the picture with the STi badge and OEM Amber Headlights Back on...
and a picture of what I'd like to get in the next few months:
I got my front bumper/fog covers/splitters painted yesterday by Ballz down in Palo Alto. I must say I am VERY impressed with how everything turned out. I was fortunate enough to get to stay and watch the whole process from start to finish and was lucky enough to have such a great guy do the work.
Bryan (BALLZ) was a stickler for detail and even took an extra few hours out of his night to make sure that the work he did was amazing. He was also nice enough to seal up the 4 holes in the front bumper (2 drilled from the dealer for US Plates and the other 2 from Japan that come on the car) as well as the two rectangles that surround the holes. It looks great.
My bumper was also heavily pitted and had a nasty scratch on the top portion of the lower part of the bumper (in front of the radiator). He spent hours sanding, priming, wet-sanding, and prepping it to perfection.
Thanks to Jeff as well, he did an AWESOME job matching the Java Black Pearl... it couldn't match the car any better... I am truly impressed... And he also spent hours prepping and put the bumper back together.
Thanks to GIBZ as well for keeping me company throughout the day (and for that Pepsi )
So, enough with the talk. Pictures are worth a thousand words!
