Wrx vs Jetta=staples in head
Im a 16 year old who was lucky enough to get the money to pay for half or the retail of my wrx. Its a 02, silver, and the first thing i wanted to do was make it look good, as you can see from the mod list below I have done a few things. Anyway on a 5 lane road, 2 lanes each way and a turn lane in the middle; I was switching lanes going one way, turned my head to make sure no one was in the lane beside me, and then black.....I woke up a minute later to find my baby pretty banged up, I had been tboned. Even worse my head hurt, I put my hand up to the top of my head only to realize it was bleeding. 4 hours, 15 staples in my head later I learned what happened...The jetta was passing someone who was trying to turn, looked like I did, but they drifted in my lane, the police report speculated they were going 65, in a 35 mind you. I waited a month for my baby to be fixed, $12000 damage, the jetta that hit me was very very totaled, the engine basically split when they hit me, props to subaru for making the front out of strong metal. I got my car back, and am waiting for my compensation, pics of what I have done so far will be coming soon :-)

That's f*cked up, people like that shouldn't get their licenses back. I don't see much visible repair scars, though I'll be curious if it drives the same as before (many people say it never does). You're lucky it was fixable, my friend had his new '01 RS (fully loaded for $22K, including leather) T-Boned by an SUV and it was totalled.

Sorry to hear about the accident
Good thing that car at least looks to be back to normal, but, I agree, after any sort of accident, it never seems to be quite the same as it used to. I guess cars aren't like bones... grow back stronger than before, yada yada yada....
Anyway, as a fellow silver owner, I must say it's the best color (thought blue is a very close second). Can't say I dig the back, but to each his own, and I won't go further with that. Your intercooler looks pretty beat up. I recommend you run to the nearest hardware store and invest the $2.50 or so for a roll of Gutterguard and make yourself an intercooler screen. One of the better (and one of the very very few) I've done.

I am very sorry to hear about the accident but glad you are okay. Is it just me or is the front jacked up looking? It looks as if you have about 100 pounds in the trunk. Mine doesnt look as high, maybe why it isnt as grippy as before. I also had an accident in my WRX, nothing like yours but bad enough. I also do not feel that it is the same, it feels slugish sometimes..probably just me though. Good luck with in the future.
