WRX powerslide in powder snow

to drive the wrx in snow conditions is awesome. I love in norway (25km from petter solberg in fact) and the capabilities of the wrx is incredible.
Have passed X5s, Volvo XC, XC90, Audi Allroads on snowy surfaces this winter. We have 6months winter, 7months on winter tyres.
My friend have a Audi S3 and he loves the winter driving wit the wrx much better. Little soft suspension on the wrx, but this gives the car a very good traction on snow(too stiff is not good).
The AWD system on subaru is super on snow. Its the best 4wd car I have driven on snow(and bare roads too). It dosent matter if its snow...its only much more enjoyable. The only the the car lacks, is snow stopping power. It just grips too much in front (a mercedes A-Class stops better, thus the better brake propotion system, its a huge difference). The wrx dosent stop bad, but i know it can stop better. The problem is not the sice of brakes, but ABS/electronic system. I have the WRX, the WRX Sti has better brakes, but the essential wich I want: the G-sensor brake propotion device and stops better in snow.
Anyway, The wrx is awesome on snow... you just propell away from all the 2wds, whats cool with a 500bhp Supra on snow???Its a complete car.

yep, i know
but on real slippery suface I prefer all wheel "constant" drive without any 2wd with electronical 4wds (as Haldex - Volvo/Saab/Audi etc uses)
Much more feedback from the car with real AWD. feks Haldex has an electronic cluch wich have to react first, when one of the front wheels slip... Its in fact 2wd, and when one spins, the rear couple in. Olso decellerating, braking on gear or setting up the car for a powerslide is much more easy on AWD Subaru. All wheels brakes on AWD if u go off the pedal, not on haldex.
In regular use the haldex is better(less fuel) and works for "the mass" of customers. I frefer true 4wd..

the only audi model to use a haldex system is the TT. all of audi's other models use a torsen system which responds to wheel slippage even faster than subaru's system. by subaru using a viscous system, you have to wait on the fluid to react and trasfer power. there is no lag with a torsen system, and for the most part it is usually 50/50 power distribution.
