White on gold rocks II (bugeyes RULE!)

Like boloheadrat, I have a white '03. I had to get some gold wheels so some Rota SDRs were obtained.

I just recently changed wheels when a set of STi wheels became available and I also got the side skirts painted:

The car has a TBE and uppipe. The UTEC and STi injectors are in hand and will be installed shortly.

More pics to follow.

What turbo do you plan to use the injectors with? The stocks are enough for the stock turbo even with a full turboback.

I'm still hoping that a bolt-on GT28RS (aka "disco potato") becomes available. For now I plan on pushing the stock turbo to the limits. I already ordered a FMIC and gauges to monitor intake temp, fuel pressure, boost & egt. Combined w/ the data logging on the UTEC and borrowing a friend's wideband, I feel comfortable in exploring the limits of the TD04. Oh yeah, I'll have parallel feed fuel rails and might tinker w/ the fuel pressure regulator too

Nice choice! I'm strongly considering putting that on my EJ257 motor someday far from now. You'll need a custom up and downpipe with an external wastegate. I think you can get those from Ultimate Racing in Canada.

I got a few more goodies to install:

A Helix DP (thanks to Gruppe-S) which has been ceramic coated (thanks to Performance Coatings). I currently have a PDE DP on the car but decided to try this one. The extra O2 bung will come in handy while tuning. The UTEC went in last week.

I also got this:

I hope to get it installed this week but my dog just had some surgery so I might not have time

shouldn't it be "gold on white" instead of "white on gold" since there is more white than gold?

Yeah but vertically the white is over the gold . Nah, you do have a point. I named this thread in honor of my buddy who's parting out his "white on gold" WRX and getting an STi.

My dog is feeling better so I had some time this weekend to get some work done:

Bling-bling:

This is the replica aqua scoop from Gruppe-S. I need to get it painted but it fits perfect, I was afraid that it might hit the pipe and need trimming but it was fine :
