Depends on the second car I get. I'm still on the fence about the full track car setup. If I do go that route, the heater, ac, etc will all be out of there plus I definitely need to balance the car since the driver side is heavy atm.

What method did you use to remove the sound deadening crap? I got most of my trunk done and gave up because it was taking so damn long and I was making more of a mess than anything else.

The STI does not come with sound deadning like wrx's do. But yes, dry ice is the best trick for that. Helped a buddy with an early 80's GTI recently and it worked on the old crusty stuff.
I'll have to take some updated pics of my track built sti. It is fully stripped with a cage. JDM bumper beam to be installed next week and remove the rear bumper beam. Finally found a flat trunk swap so I can install a Cusco 3D GT wing. If front impact is not an issue, removing the sub-frame drops 26lbs off the front of the car, and improves handling.
Gonna gut the doors and get some plexi sometime soon.

Here's a few pics, note the DCCD switches relocated sandwiched around Defi Link control unit in dash.(3rd pic)

Welp good thing it's not ending up my daily driver. wrexr: hell yeah that's what Im going for eventually -- however I'm still on the fence about the plans for the car.

The exterior of your car is HOTNESS. The interior is spartan and businesslike.

it was the effect we wanted... I had to hold the brakes down to light it up all red.
