I thought about what it would take to replicate my BMW M3 race car (including the cost of getting a used M3 to start with) with everything that is in it, and it was in excess of $75K. And that's a stock class racer.

Last year's Speed World Challenge Cars, to be competitive, were in the $150K range to build - probably even more this year.
I think stripped down models of a new Radical are in the 50's.

Heres' a Saker in action in Australia or New Zealand. I really like the way the car looks in action and the new car we'll be using (note the rear spoiler on this previous version) looks even better

i'm curious... how reliable is the street setup? and if purchased, is there any type of warranty? and i think it would be cool to get some coverage in car and driver or something like super street-

We're working on getting some PR stuff done. In fact, next Wed., Stu Hayner (SWC GT driver) will be driving the blue and yellow demo car at Mosport and there will be filming for the Speed Channel show "Sports Car Revolution."
If anybody can get word to Impezer, I'd like to talk to him ASAP about getting i-club.com on the car for that.

Just got word that Stu Hayner and Chip Herr (both Speed World Challenge drivers) got to do quite a bit of lapping in that blue and yellow demo car at Toronto Motorsport Park. Apparently, even with the base engine, the car is very quick and needs to be handled with respect (maybe find a way to put wider tires on the back!).
Considering it was the first time one of that model has been tracked so with no prior set up, I was happy to hear that Chip said it was already close to the best Radical he's driven.

They had this car at Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta this past week. There's an i-club.com decal on the doors. After I post these, I'll try to crop better close ups of the car.
