Here, the house is almost completely closed in. I ended up doing the electrical work myself to save some money. It was a fun little project, but running Romex in the attic space 13’ up during 100F+ weather is not fun.

Here's some more progress: The exterior is complete except for paint. Interior is next. At some point the garage doors and driveways will go in.

From the street it looks like I have more garage than house!

BTW, that tree ended up coming down.

The tree is a goner (check out that stump!)

Here we're finally getting a driveway again. I added a nice little retaining wall:

This may be a bit too much driveway though.

BTW, the garage doors are not 100% complete. I still need the correct inserts and the carriage hardware. But at least I’m weather tight.

Here’s the closet just before the carpet went down and before my clothes got hung. My wife is extremely happy.

Next came the interior work on the garage. I installed my cabinets, workbenches, and started getting organized.

I did all of the landscaping in the yard myself. My goal was zero maintenance, so I did not put any grass back in. It should look good by next year once some of the ground cover plants fill in.

Why the heck is that old water heater sitting in the driveway?
Well, I went tankless! And it’s JDM, yo!

My STi was in storage during this whole process (April-September) since I didn’t want to leave her in the street. Back home where she belongs:
