I'm curious too, inasmuch as I've considered it (better spool, still decent mileage). Know a lot of folks just go 2.5 or bigger if they're gonna stroke anything.

I'm not shooting for big power and I'm never fan of hybrid set up.

and this is how a JDM shifter looks like . lol , i guess it got damaged from shipping. took me 2 hours just to straighten up the shifter .Vendor is giving me a free brand new shift knob..

I'm not using the sleeved block anymore .main journal need to get align hone. got another block from Robs auto machine shop at Hayward . He did all the machining , clearance and assembly. updated (rod bearings spun. its possible from the grind crank )
