Project Bob (1982 BRAT)

Thought I would post an Old School Soob here.

I bought the car last year. Here is the original condition.

You are going to have to go backwards.

So I went to the junkyard and found some wagon wheels and the rear jump seats

Next was to install the wheels and fix the fender.

Through the next months I have installed a brush bar, new seats, installed the back seats, put in a legacy radio. I will take current pictures and post them this weekend.

I do plan to chronicle the building and install of a 6 inch lift kit and 28 inch swampers.

Your Brat looks awesome so far! I helped install the lift kit and 6 lug swap on my boss' turbo Brat last summer. We got the lift kit for free from a guy who wrecked his EA81 wagon before he ever installed it. He just had it laying around and wanted to get rid of it, so my friend and I picked it up and it sat around FOREVER before we got around to installing it, but it's done and the thing is AWESOME. I can post a few pics of it if you want. My boss was talking about having the kit duplicated, and as far as I know, he had a few made. I never followed up on it since I moved away, but if you want, I can check and see if he actually did it.

This is probably old news to you, but www.usmb.net is the BEST site for school Subies. You're probably already on there, but I just want to be sure.
