Pictures from the racetrack.

Here are some pics from my day at Thunderhill yesterday. Most of the better pics were taken during parade laps...

Notice the Ford GT with DUCT tape on the front end- and he was probably the slowest car all day long, so sad...

my car is the blue WRX, my friends is the yellow GTI, and his dad was driving the silver Mustang GT.

and awesome ford gt...but duct tape??? why? isnt that a bit much? i would think that would leave a pretty sticky mess to clean.

if you own a ford GT, you could buy a new paint job for the entire car if one part doesn't look good after some duct tape...

the duct tape did leave a sticky mess. we watched him peel some of it off and it left a ton of residue. its going to take him forever to get that off, especially if he doesn't want to ruin his paint anymore... it made me so sad to watch

the track was awesome. this was my first time out on a track and i had more fun than i have in a long time! i did their high performance driving school, which was a super good deal and i learned a ton about my car. the track was fun to drive, with the elevation changes and blind corners and such it was a challenge- i definetly reccomend it.
and i got to pass a GT3 Porsche... that made my day.

my first track was Laguna Seca and I'm dying to do more. I want to do LS again, but I also want to experience other tracks. Sadly its about an 800 mile trip (round trip) to t-hill for me

yeah, it was the 25th- and the weather was amazing! i dont know how we got so lucky... at least it didnt snow for you, the guys at the track were telling us that there might be snow the next day... sorry it was raining though, although that would be fun to have the suby out in- not so much for the motorcycle.
