I used duplicolor wheel coating but wanted to be 100% sure I wouldn't get any flaking. So took me 3 days to do, car was on jackstands the whole time. Basically I, washed and cleaned with liquid detergent. Wet scrubbed with a red scuff pad. Sun dried, then taped off the lip with 1" making tape. Sprayed one thin layer of primer and let dry.Next day I put 3 coats of Graphite colored wheel coating 15 minutes apart and let air dry for about 20 hours. Put wheels in the bath tub and wet sanded with 400 grit sand paper to remove the clumps and splotches. Dried and recoated with 2 additional coats. After an hour and a half I coated with 3 coats of clear coat sprayed 10 minutes apart.
Let them bake in the direct sun on the 3rd day and put them on that night.
Here's attached a close up of it
