New Year, time to do a build.

So, with the new year will come fresh parts for my 112k mile FXT.

Will be installing:
GS p/p exhaust manifolds w/hi-flow crosspipe
GS up
Six Star Speed hybrid BB chra vf48 w/ported WG relief
Titek 3" HFC full length DP
Milltek 3" CBE
STI tmic
Subtle splitter
JDM v7 STI hood scoop
GS 3-port BCS
Walbro 255

Will be tuned by Ed at EQ. Just had them do comp/leakdown, was very pleased with 149/150/149/150. #3 had the highest leakdown @6%, but I plan to go conservative on the tune so it shouldn't be an issue. Of course, while they were out, I had Ed and gang throw in new plugs in preparation for the build. Two recent Blackstone UOA's show very good numbers for wear metals, and prove that my Amsoil 5w20 is doing a good job. I don't lose any oil between changes, so I figure the engine is healthy enough for sexual activity.

Need to figure out what gauges I want to run. I have an instrument cluster bezel with 2-52mm holes, one will be boost, the other EGT or AFR. Might get an ashtray bezel for 2 more gauges, run fuel pressure and the other of the EGT/AFR that I don't put in the instrument cluster bezel.

Have some LGT brakes that I need to throw on as well, just sitting in my garage until I find the time to clean 'em up or rebuild them.

Any other suggestions from the peanut gallery? This isn't my first rodeo, but I'm always ready to listen to the voices of experience.

Might want to ask Ed about the BCS before buying one. I know he used to prefer the Hallman mbc's when tuning.

He didn't mention anything the other day when I was there, but I will surely ask. I would prefer to not use a MBC, and I already have the GS bcs.

I'm sure he can use either. I asked him a couple of years back on my build and he said he preferred the mbc so I went that way. Are you running stock injectors?

Yeah, stock injectors. I asked about those and was told to buy the Walbro, but that my stock injectors should be fine to meet my conservative tuning goal(18-19psi, 91 pump gas). I do have another set of bigger injectors laying around(need to get them flowed to determine exactly what they are) that I can throw on if needed.

I have to talk to subtle about the splitter. The gasket is coming apart on mine. The metal portion is solidly built. If I can get my JDM splitter, I may sell the Subtle, if you're interested (after I get the gasket replaced.)

Forget is this is permissible to bump your own stuff in other threads, but check my FS page for other swag of interest.

If nothing else, I def have some Grimmspeed gaskets for that crosspipe you're putting it. Lmk.

Already got the Subtle splitter, will keep an eye on the gasket

My cross pipe is still attached to the headers, from when DDMan had it. Hopefully won't need to split it to install. I saw some of your swag, was considering the Gimmick inlet pipe the other day, and if I knew your chimney would fit, I would own it already.
