Unhappy My ride, not a WRX

Hello as you can see I am new here, from what I can tell so far. This is a great site with nice helpful folks. I currently drive a 2002 Honda Civic SI, and I am a moderator on a SI site called Ephatch.com

I am going to see if I can upgrade to a 04 WRX by Sept. I have been keeping my eye on this car since it's introduction. I have to say that I am very pleased with how the 04 WRX looks.

Just for kicks, here are a few pics of my ride.

Engine:
Injen Short Ram Intake with Heatshield
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts (not installed yet)
Happies Grounding Wires

Suspension:
H&R Sport Springs
SPC Camber Kit
Type-S rear sway

Aerodynamics:
VIS Carbon Fiber Hood Mugen Style
VIS Carbon Fiber Wing Mugen Style
Hood Pins (not installed yet)

Legal Tint all around (35%)

Used to have a Neuspeed Front Strut, now lookin to get Mr Alex front and rear strut bars. Got ordered my Polished Injen Cold Air intake from showstoppers. Also hopeing to get new shoes for her in a few months

What she was like when I first got her, had an intake and custom 2.25" midpipe welded directly to a Skunk2 Mega Power Muffler

Scott (YssSI, white), Anton (Tony Speed, black), and me (silver duh)

I gots my hoes getting my sh*t...

Just kidding, very nice girls

Friend who likes to think he is going fast...

This car has been very good to me, yet cause of my lack of experience and quick decisions. I have made a few mistakes, and in order to get more power. I will have to some what back track to fix other problems that need to be addresed. So I hope that things work out and I will be the happy owner of a all wheel drive ride

Thumbs up

I'm not a big civic man but that's nice and clean.

I think you should leave the pins uninstalled though.

Thanks Chris, it is nice to keep meeting folks who can get parts.

That is an option, yet for the overall price. Boosting the A3 would be the better choice. I am not looking for killer numbers, I would feel good just being aroun 200-230 WHP. Shouldn't be to difficult with a few mods and a flash program on a WRX.

Thanks, just made a trip to Florida for Tuner Bash going around 80 mph. Latch looks good, so maybe I won't have to drill holes for these pins.

Don't worry about him to much, folks like him troll around for sh*ts and giggles. Your right, this site like many others doesn't need folks like that.

Thanks, and sweet. What did you have done to your EK? I know a few members who have made the switch and are very happy with their choice.

Thanks again guys

Honestly I didn't have much done to my EK. My dad wouldn't let me do much unfortunetly, I had an exhaust and intake not much. But I had many plans for it that didn't happen lol. I wanted to drop a turboed h22 motor in it and such. As much as I like my wrx, i still have a soft spot for civic hatchbacks.

I think your civic is sweet. you might wanna get some rims though imo. I used to have a 2000 civic ex with a b18c swap in it, and it was pretty nice too. But the jump from that to my 04 wrx was definitely worth while. Good luck with that!
