umm... no not really. i have an 05 RS with a borla header and megan racing axle back with no resonator. and sounds no where near a honda. still get the nice boxer sound.

 

depends on the muffler.

my OEM STI muffler with no resonator and stock cat sounds delicious. if i were to take the cat off and put a megan racing axel back on it would sound like a farting loud honda, only deeper.

it's not the pitch, it's the farting we're compaining about.

 

pretty sure my car doesnt make a farting noise. i think i know the difference. plus without the resonator it doesnt even make that big of a difference, just a little bit louder not much, and u can feel the exhaust flow a little better.

 

I was refering to if he was to use a trackpipe/cat delete pipe with no resonator. The result of that will be raspyness.

 

hey vince glad to see you finally got your rs lowered, noticed it today when you parked outside school..what set up are you lowered on, im getting tired of my springs and im ready for something new.
