My broken scooby :(

I'll show it off now in broken form, and show it off again when I get the replacement parts. This is from a ~10mph rear ending in stop and go traffic. Oops.

But the good news...replacement parts= EDM STi projector lights, STi grill, and Koyo radiator.

That's what happens when an aluminum hood hits something

IT looks like the wreck squared off your hoodscoop too

I was pretty shocked too. I hit a 91 Jeep Cherokee, and just slipped right under the rear bumper. No damage to the Jeep, $4200 in damage to mine

That is exactally what my car looked like when i got into my accident a while ago. Did it cause any damage to your radiator? THat was the one major thing that was damaged in my case.

Radiator is no more, but I was able to drive it to the side of the road (ie no belts or fans rubbing) You can see the fluid running out in the first picture.

Here's one of the top down, both lights broken in different areas. The front crossmember was tweeked pretty bad, along with the hood latch, radiator support brackets... lots of little bits and pieces.

I went today to give it a weekend hug and noticed that the belt cover is cracked from things moving forward, and was within 1/2 inch of hitting pully's and belts. Close call.

how much damage did you have HKS?

My damage was mostly the raidiator. I ended up having to replace the hood, grill, headlights and have the front bumper refinished. About 4,500 worth of damage. (thank god for insurance though)

Wow, you scared me for a second, I didn't even think of that when they were towing it. But the guy did use rear rollers, I'm just having a hard time remembering how he got the rear wheels onto rollers. How do they do that? I know he didn't jack the car up...

The front lip is a custom thing I pieced together at home depot, it's actually plastic lawn edging

They probably roll the car on to the rollers, but that short of a distance wouldn't hurt anything.

Sam,

Have you gotten the EDM headlights and stuff yet? Good luck on getting it repaired!
