My amateur autobody project- 04' STi
Hello everyone, brand spanking new to this forum or any forums in general. Bought my 04 STi back in December 14' in South Dakota while i was still doing my time in the Air Force. Fast forward 5 months later, i decided to separate from the Air Force and move back to my hometown in Sacramento, CA. With so much free time, i was able to start doing the things i wanted to with the subie. First, was to remove the rust spots on the rocker panel and rear quarter panel and weld in new metal. As i was just starting to prep the car for paint, my neighbor coincidentally had a set of flares laying in his garage from when he previously owned a wrx and gave them to me in exchange for fixing his floor panel on a pickup truck that was rusted out. I personally, love the look of molded flares, so thats what i decided to do. So far, the project has been going pretty smooth. During the process, i decided to pick up some chargespeed sideskirts, rear spats, front lip, some wide wheels, bc coilovers, blah blah blah here's some pics. enjoy! Keep in mind, i have minimal body work experience.
