My 96 Impreza Brighton

I recently purchased a 96 Impreza Brighton edition. anyone who is informed on Imprezas knows that this is the most basic package 'prezas come in with only 110 hp and matching torque. i just put in a new clutch and its pretty tedious work. after taking off the exhaust (from the downpipes back) getting around the driveline and scooting the tranny back enuff to have work space its a really simple process to put it back together. my dad messed up the clutch setting and now its a really rough ride. if anyone knows about a good set up i would appreciate any input.

If you really want a lot of power, sell the car and buy a WRX. There isn't any really cheap way to pull more power out of the NA.

Theres no downpipe on an NA car. If you want power, cheapest swap for that car that makes power is an ej20g. The swap will probably cost you 4-5g's total when done but you'll have more than twice the power with stock reliability. Or you could boost the ej18 if you want it to die.
