My 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4

So i sold my WRX about 2 months ago and bought a Honda S2000. After driving the S2000 around, i really started to miss the feeling of AWD grip and also the feeling of having a turbo. Dont get me wrong though, the S2000 is a great handling car and i love it to death too, but..it definately was lacking something when compared to my WRX. So my search for a new car began around January. I was throwing around the idea of picking up an Eclipse GSX, Talon TSi, or Laser Rs, or maybe just sell the S2000 and pick up an Evo8. I really wanted an Evo8, but it was hard to let my S2000 go just after owning it for a couple months...plus i had ordered about 3 grand in parts already for it. So i decided to look for a cheaper alternative. DSM's have a horrible reputation for breaking down and what not all the time, but a lot of my buddies own these cars, and it just showed me that these cars are just as reliable as any other as long as youre on top of the maintenance all the time.

So..after spending about 1/2 of my life on craigslist, i found the car i was looking for. I dont know how i found it, because the whole time i was looking for eclipse' and talons, but she came up out of no where. Its a 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 #1512/2000. When i went to look at the car, I knew this was the car for me. It was insanely dirty, but the exterior and interior were in almost perfect condition for such an old car, and best of all it is one of the cheapest Galants i have ever seen for sale.

Heres some pics from the night i took her home

pretty much my goals for this car is to turn it into an 11 second sleeper . i dont need this car to handle like a go kart, because thats what the other car is for.

in the next month or so, i should have a turboback, MBC, boost gauge and a fuel pump and i should be in the mid 13's.

future plans are Evo3 16g, injectors, EMS, cams, cam gears, FMIC, Evo3 manifold, ACT 2900lb clutch, 5 lug conversion, coilovers etc etc

far future plans...
