Did you know that the wheels are different sizes? Therefore it will throw the balance off for the AWD Sensor system. It could even mess up the Trany if left that way for too long. All four four wheels and tires should be the same all the way around. If I'm wrong please by all means explain otherwise.

That is a scam. What a dumb ***. If anyone pays more than $11k for that car they are retarded.
I'd be scared to buy it at all even for a great deal because they guy is obviously brain dead.
That doesn't look like an sti block to me? That looks like a stock air box? $3k for flex's..right. 2 wheels?
I would not being trusting that drive train at all. With someone that smart behind the wheel I'm sure the tranny got slammed and I'm sure the diffs aren't too stoked to be running two different wheels like that.
What a moron.
I saw someone doing that the other night and couldn't believe it...but at least they had it true ricer status and the rims where on the back. stockers in the front. Come on people...these are AWD cars...not FWD..and you're driving around town...not the drag strip.

Honestly how can you tell if that is or is not a STI block you can't even see it... And if a 2.0 and a 2.5 were next to each other the average person can't tell the difference. But he did say he has a intake and that is the stock airbox..

you can't tell. but why would you go to an sti block and keep the entire stock wrx top end?
Not to mention..why would you do that before you get a FULL set of wheels.
I just don't trust it. I'd check the numbers. My money is that's a stock block. For sure no other sti parts in that thing.
Beyond that...why did he change the block...blow it up. Running nos? Wouldn't trust the driveline. none of it.

I agree with ya my friend put a STI block in his WRX, used his heads and everything else but also put on a FP green, front mount and I believe he has a Utec and he has exhaust...OH and his wheels match..That guy is saying the car has stuff that people can see by the pictures that he actually dosen't..

alright so there could be a situation here that none of us know about so why jump to rice. and those are not rota torques or subzeros. i'm going with OZ superlaggeras. torques and subzeros are a split 5 spoke. those are a split 6 spoke. and superlaggeras are sick wheels, super light, very durable. i'm not gona nock it
i hav no idea wut his situation is or wut he may hav lurking under the hood. do u hav a pic of the other side. he could hav picked up a single flat on the drivers side and there could b 3 good wheels.
i duno about the wieght having any issues with the awd, i've been going to school for auto tech and motorsports and never heard anything like that with subaru before. yur right tho the circumference of the overall wheel and tire package will make a difference. however u would need a large difference, varying tire pressures from front to rear is not uncommon and i hav never had any problems with the center diff so the tire circumference would hav to be sumstantial. wut happens is the center diff is kinda like a buncha auto trans clutch packs and they slip and hold and slip and hold to help transfer power from wheel to wheel and if some wheels are moving A LOT faster than the others than u begin to burn up those packs.
all i'm saying is lets think about it before we jump to conclusions.
