I'm fine, but the car is definitely totaled. I'm still not sure what i'll be replacing her with, but I have some evil ideas in mind...

Kellie, I did cry

I got out, looked at the destruction, and shed a tear. Luckily one of my best friends (happens to be in to cars as well) was there to console me.

I'll probably be parting out soon :sadwavey:
Well, I'm glad to hear you're okay. In the end, that's all that matters, cause you can always get a new toy.

(oh, and now that I know you're alright, the sticker makes me laugh a little).

I almost want to just take the loss and keep all the parts to myself

I shouldn't have allowed myself to get so attached, but it's hard seeing your hard work picked apart like roadkill (no pun intended)

Anyways, the adjuster will be coming on tuesday to confirm that it's totaled. I'll let everyone know what i decide to do as soon as i know.

I won't be taking "dibs" on anything except for some close friends who i have already given my word to.

Thanks,

--Kim

No kidding, like a bunch of vultures. Let the girl have some time. We all need the time to grieve.

Serriously,
When they came to take my totaled firbird away they didnt notice that it had no exhaust, headers, drivers/passingers seats, stereo, the transmission was sitting next to the car with no flywheel and no clutch....OK so they prolly noticed but they didnt care.
Take your parts, put them away on a shelf, take the check they will give you for the car and buy your self another car like yours. It will be the best/easiest thing all around.
If you dont trust me you will wimper every time you see one on the road.

Car is totalled. I'll be listing parts in the next few days. I'll probably be getting an STi, so i'm keeping the wheels, exhaust, and DMS'.

Turbo, Injectors, and fuel pump for sale. I can also switch out ECU's (mine has EcuTek stage 2 tune from Vishnu) if someone can come to santa barbara to switch it out before they pick the car up on tuesday.
