Talking Kimbo's WRX

I have wanted a subaru of my own since my older brother drove in the driveway with his brand new 2002 WRX... well not exactly, the first test drive is what really sold me on it. for 2 years i drove around a hand me down 2 door tahoe, then 5 days after i turned 18 i finally bought my own WRX. 2004 pearl silver metallic, i was so anxious to start modding, i couldnt wait! i started off with Rota SDR's in steel grey, i put those on my car with only 400 miles on it. that day i also put in a Blitz turbo timer (bday preasant from the older bro), and Kartboy short shifter. after the down payment and the new wheels i was broke, i had to wait about a month until i got any more mods. when i got some more money i ordered a helix uppipe and prodrive springs, i was able to put the helix up pipe on right away but the prodrives were backordered for months, i ended up cancelling the order on the prodrives and went for V7 JDM STi suspension. i absolutely loved it, the improvement was amazing, i soon after ordered STi pink springs since i wasnt too impressed with the drop on my car. the springs have yet to be installed. so this is my current setup, i plan to keep on modding my car, i hope i can keep this car for a long time, i absolutely love it, maybe i can get an STi someday, who knows, but im definitly sticking with subaru! (*edit* lol)

Recap...

Current mods list:
Rota SDR's w/ Kumho Exsta MX's
SSR Competitions (Track wheels)
Blitz FATT
Kartboy Short shifter and bushings
STi shift ****
STi v7 suspension w/ STi Pinks
PF "kick ***" grounding kit
STi Corner side splitters
Perrin rear sway bar
DMS 50mm coilovers (350 in the front, 400 in the rear)
Hotchkis Strut bar with camber plates
Hotchkis adjustable rear lateral links

And the mighty Vishnu stage 2
Turboback exhaust
uppipe
VF 34 turbo
STi 550cc injectors
fuel pump
Intercooler hoses
reflash

Mods coming in the very near future:

Big brake kit (not sure which one yet)
JDM fogs
Racing seat (probably Bride)
maybe a harness rollbar combo
Another set of wheels! I need wider ones! Maybe Volks, probably another set of SSR's

Thanks for reading

Sounds pretty sweet Kimbo! I just have one suggestion about the rear swaybar you wanna get, You said you are gonna get the endlinks, very good idea....but my suggestion is, ALSO, get upgraded Rear SwayBar (RSB) MOUNTS (IF the rear sway does not come with them), as I had to find out the hard way that an upgraded rear sway will snap the stock mounts like cheap plastic....(I hit a curb thanks to the mount breaking which caused a bent rim and a bent lower control arm. ) So yea, make sure you dont make the same mistake I did....it's an expensive one. <shrug>

thanks for the advice! one of the reasons why im gettin the perrin is because its really tough and comes with heavy duty mounts. i have heard of so many people that have broken thier mounts, that sucks you still had the cheapo oem ones!

Nice setup, I wouldn't worry about comparing it to other subaru's, you've done a lot so far! I don't have my subie yet, but I don't think I'll be able to do as much as you have in that short a time. . . keep it up!

Update: installed Vishnu Turboback twin tip, wow, huge difference! i am really impressed with this exhaust, by both power, and sound, i like the sound of this exhaust more than any other that i have heard, and it looks clean! heres some pics it took today...

i got my STi pink springs, hopefully i will have some time to install them this weekend.
