yeah .. just so happened that crfsti was doing a part out and i was in the right place at the right time. I wouldnt have been able to get it but he let me make two or three payments to him. It gets rid of a lot of the droning from the exhaust and still sounds great when you open it up. I wish i could get it even quieter but it seems like you have to go less than 3" to do that and i cant do that.

im thinking about lining the entire trunk with dynamat type material to get rid of a lot more droning. coming from the exhaust. I have no spare tire or anything back there and it made the exhaust much more present in the cockpit. Stuff is really expensive though.

I wouldnt mind, but I dont wanna drone out the babies ears. I also like to take road trips with my wife and would like to actually hear her over the car. I m selling my amp and subs so i also want the stereo to overpower the exhaust without having to turn it up really loud. Your car is sick though

if at all possible you should get an 04 USDM STi cluster as it is more plug and play. 05 It is plug n play after you shave down the tabs allowing fitment of the WRX wire harness plugs and possible clip a wire or two. I have one pin bent over to one side which was done by previous owner of the cluster. I believe that one was bent to get rid of the buzzing noise which some of them have. All gauges work. Shift light works. Rev limit beep works. Dimmer works.. and the best part, the start up sweep works. I love my gauges.
